Barbizon Opens Arizona Office

Barbizon

announces the opening of a satellite office in the greater Phoenix area. "For years we've had a number of customers and vendors asking us to open a branch office in the Phoenix area," says Rick Loudenburg, Barbizon's manager of western operations. "We knew it was time when we found the right team." Joining Barbizon Phoenix are Thommy Hall and Mike Riordan.

Thommy Hall, principal outside salesperson, is a former regional manager of High End Systems and has worked in Arizona for 12 years with audio-visual, rental, and equipment sales companies. Thommy believes that "Arizona is fortunate in having a knowledgeable technical community that is always searching for more education and an ever higher level of service. Barbizon Arizona will be instrumental in providing opportunities to obtain this knowledge by sponsoring product showcases and training seminars. We understand that the sale and service of theatrical products requires a level of commitment to education and continuing support after the sale."

Mike Riordan, systems integrator for the satellite office, is also a native of Arizona and comes to Barbizon after working for Sunbelt Scenic Studios for seven years. "With my experience and the resources of Barbizon's Systems Integration Team, we will have a broad range of project possibilities which is very exciting," says Riordan.

"There is a tremendous amount of corporate AV work, theatres, churches, television production, and new systems installations in the greater Phoenix area," says CEO Jonathan Resnick. "This location will assist us in targeting other parts of the region with enhanced customer service."

To celebrate the grand opening, Barbizon will be hosting an Open House, November 7-9, at the office in Tempe. The new office address and contact information is: Barbizon Light of Arizona, 947 South 48th St., Suite 127, Tempe, AZ 85281, phone: 480-237-0470, fax: 480-237-0475.
